New Delhi, 11 September 2025: The country’s first dedicated aluminium extrusion exhibition, ALUMEX India 2025, opened today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The four-day event was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in the presence of industry leaders and stakeholders.

Organised by the Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), the exhibition has brought together 200+ exhibitors and expects 25,000 business visitors from across the aluminium value chain.

Factors such as price disparities, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) concessions, and cheaper imports from China and ASEAN countries have hampered local production. The US tariffs have further impacted domestic manufacturers.
