On Akshay Tritiya, filmmaker Seemaa Desai paid tribute to her close friend, the late production designer and writer-director Sumit Mishra, by launching his poetry collection Sapne Aur Haqiqat Ke Beech.
The book was unveiled by renowned filmmaker Umesh Shukla and Sangita Mishra, Sumit’s wife and a painter. Artist Shruti Ulfat set the tone for the event by anchoring it. The evening featured a heartfelt spoken word tribute by Seemaa Desai, along with soulful poem recitations by actors Shruti Ulfat, Ankit Siwach, Sapna Sand, and producer Sejal Painter.Composer-singer Pankaj Saini brought select poems to life through his musical compositions.
