Kathmandu : Bihar BJP leader Shri Rupesh Pandey today met Hon’ble Vice President of Nepal, Shri Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, at Kathmandu. The meeting focused on strengthening India-Nepal relations, border-area trade, infrastructure cooperation, and people-to-people connectivity.
Shri Pandey said, “It was a very positive and cordial meeting. Nepal’s pace of development is expanding. Together, Bihar and Nepal can advance in trade, education, health and tourism.” He also appreciated Nepal’s ongoing development initiatives and suggested measures to simplify customs and boost MSMEs in border regions.
Vice President Yadav reaffirmed the centuries-old friendship between the two nations and expressed willingness to enhance bilateral cooperation. Both leaders agreed to explore joint programs, youth exchanges, and trade fairs in the future.
